Maison SL wins Drapers independent retailer Award

Maison SL was delighted to win the Womenswear Independent of the Year award at the prestigious Drapers 2023 awards for independent retailers.

The Drapers Independent Awards Judging Panel said of Maison SL: "Judges loved this amazing business, saying it reaches far beyond the store, giving a fantastic service for clients as well as undertaking excellent community work."⁠

Known as the fashion industry bible, Drapers is the leading media publishing business for the retail fashion sector. The Drapers Independents Awards celebrate the best in independent fashion retailing. Coming after three difficult years marked by the pandemic, the 2023 awards recognise "the fashion retailers and brands that have innovated to survive, supported their local communities, and built stronger businesses under the toughest of circumstances."

The awards were presented at the Grosvenor House hotel on 21 September 2023 in front of an audience of leading brands and independent fashion retailers.

The awards cover all aspects of the independent retail sector, with categories for womenswear, menswear, womenswear and kidswear brands and retailers. They also celebrate retailers that go above and beyond for their customers with excellent customer service and use of social media.

Drapers said this year's large number of entries "were of an incredibly high standard demonstrating the wealth of talent and innovation across the independent sector."
